Modern Distillery & Zero-Waste Production
Galoya Plantations' distillery converts molasses into Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) through fermentation and multi-column distillation.
The distillery was renovated and upgraded, with commercial operations commencing in 2017/18. Its designed capacity is 21,500–24,500 litres of alcohol per day.
The distillery complex is also designed to produce 10,000 m³ of biogas per day, 7,000 MT of bio fertilizer per annum, 400,000 litres per day of wastewater treatment, and 10 MT of carbon dioxide per day.
