Cane Sugar Manufacturing Process
The industrial process for sugar manufacturing involves the application of several careful processes to transform sugarcane juice into pure crystals, cleaning them naturally from impurities. Step into our world and see how nature's sweetness is perfected.
Sugarcane arrives and its quality (RCS) is determined via lab samples before proceeding.
Prepared cane undergoes a series of extractions using roller mills. Hot water is applied to increase extraction.
Raw juice is heated and treated with milk of lime to remove impurities, forming a clear juice.
Carried out in Roberts type evaporators. The juice is boiled under vacuum to thicken into a rich syrup.
Sucrose crystallization is carried out in vacuum containers. Microscopic seeds are introduced to accelerate crystal growth.
High-speed centrifuges spin the cooked mass, separating the pure sugar crystals from the molasses.
Sugar crystals pass through rotary dryers using warm air to reduce moisture content for safe storage.
The final premium sugar is carefully graded, weighed, and securely packed into bags for distribution.
